      Born in Haute-Corse, from a family of Italian, Corsican and Tunisian origins, she is immersed in a mixed culture in the heart of the Mediterranean. These influences are found in his practice of the oud and in his repertoire which is composed of oriental music, traditional Corsican music and creations.

 

      A performer musician, she plays both solo and in small groups or in groups.

Since 2016, she has been performing on different stages in France: Nice, Marseille, Lyon, Haute-Corse, in the Pyrenees ... Embracing purely traditional projects such as sound experiments, she explores the different musical universes which the influence of independently or by merging them.

      She began her first performances on small stages and festivals in the Nice region. Getting closer to musicians such as Patrick Vaillant, she plays regularly with WAP and OAP as well as at the Mandopolis festival. 

She then travels to other regions to play at the Salle Molière (Lyon 5th arrondissement) where she shares a stage with Dorsaf Hamdani, Riadh Ben Amor, Nabil Abdelmoulah, Lotfi Soua, Khaled Ben Yahia and the Al Wasl ensemble. She participates in creative residencies for contemporary dance at KLAP Maison pour la danse and at gmem-CNCM-Marseille, as part of the Bouge # 2 residency! initiated by Michel Keleminis and Christian Sébille (Marseille, 2018).

     

       In 2019, she was invited by the RTCI (Radio Tunis Chaîne Internationale) and Radio Monastir in Tunisia to broadcast several of her works and play some pieces accompanied by the Tunisian violinist Lilia Kassab.

       She was approached the following year by Christian Andreani for a residency in Haute-Corse. On this occasion, she joined the Caramusa group which passed on its repertoire to her through orality. At the same time, she joined the Compagnie des Regains, a cultural caravan made up of many musicians who crisscrossed France and Europe.

    

      Today, Sarah continues to flourish in various creative and sharing projects, working both repertoire music and her electroacoustic explorations. She is currently working on a new oud project with effects processing, the first songs of which are scheduled for 2021.

Sarah holds an oud DEM obtained at the Nice Conservatory in 2020 under the teaching of Khaled Ben Yahia.

She has shared stages with Dorsaf Hamdani, Levon Chatikyan, Riadh Ben Amor, Patrick Vaillant, Frédéric Cavallin, Hélène Peronnet, Khaled Ben Yahia, Christian Andreani, Sadrine Luigi ... As well as with the Orchester à Plectre Azuréen, the Baroque ensemble of the CRR de Nice, the Workshop À Plectre, etc.
